Procurement Admin & Coordinator
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and communicate effectively with both Malaysia and China procurement teams on operational matters.
Collaborate with country partners to ensure alignment in procurement practices, processes, and timelines.
Provide administrative and coordination support to the purchasing department and procurement team.
Assist purchasers with documentation, tracking, and follow-ups related to procurement activities.
Support procurement processes including maintaining records, preparing documents, and monitoring progress of procurement tasks.
Assist in resolving coordination or communication issues between departments to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure procurement documentation and records are organised and updated when required.
Perform other related duties and ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior to support procurement operations.
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or a related field.
Prior experience in procurement, purchasing, administration, or operations support would be an advantage.
Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow up on deadlines effectively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Ability to communicate in Mandarin would be an advantage to liaise with China procurement teams
